thinkLAX is proud to continue our youth program - PIXIE STIX Lacrosse! Expected teams: Pre/K, 1/2, 3/4, and 5/6 for this Fall!
Details Below:
- Players must be in PreK/Kindergarten, 1st Grade, 2nd Grade, 3rd Grade, 4th Grade, 5th or 6th Grade, 7th and 8th, For Montgomery County!
- Frederick County will run a K/1/2 this year!
- Practices will be 1 - 2X per week.
- Fall League in Rockville/Bethesda (Moco)
- Fall League WMYL League in Frederick
- Location: Olney Area fields & Good Counsel
- Location: Frederick Area Fields, St. John's Catholic, & Brunswick
- Cost: $250/player (Includes uniform/training)
- Coached by Michael Haight (MOCO)
- 36X Coach of the Year Award Recipient
- Over 300 Varsity Wins at Good Counsel High School.
- Multiple current Good Counsel Players and Alumni!!!

The thinkLAX developmental program is designed for families who are looking for quality basic skills instruction with a preview of the club lacrosse experience. This is an expansion of our PiXiE Program for parents wanting more instruction, games, and 1 tournament experience. It is also provided for those younger sisters in our current program!
Our developmental program uses a set curriculum to maximize player development in the fastest way possible. Our coaches are committed to developing skills and LAX IQ.
TEAM LIMIT: 22 PLAYERS (20 field & 2 goalies)
PLAN: Practice, Develop, Play
Team fees will include:
- Uniforms, League Costs, Field Costs, Equipment, Insurance and Paid Coaches, Goalie Training if applicable
- Entrance into St. James Winter League
- 1 practice a week in the winter
- 2 practices a week in the Spring
- Entrance into MYLA league for spring play
- Finish with Lax Splash (END OF MAY)
